Okay, so maybe it sounds like a made up name for someone who has a thing for pulling together a whole bunch of fabrics that all somehow work together in a quilt, but I feel like if I’m anything lately, it’s that – a Fabric Curator.
Early this summer, as explained in my previous post, I assembled another 72- piece bundle of fabrics and cut them all into 5″ squares.
The long and short of it is that Spring gets me every time. By ‘gets’ – I mean that more than any other time of the year, Spring inspires me to whip up something great; something adventurous and cheery; bright and sunny; joyful and quite obviously – Springy. Back in what sometimes feels like the olden days, when my family was young and growing, I remember feeling like there was always tons of planning and organizing going on. In those days, we went the grocery store once a week with a detailed list. We organized that list by section from back of the store to the front, because that’s the order in which my ducklings and I proceeded throughout the store.
